As the season comes to a close join us in celebrating VRC Members Race Day.

This special meeting provides an opportunity to acknowledge the VRC members wonderful support and loyalty for the 2025/26 racing season.

This meeting plays host to The Byerley Handicap (1800m) – a coveted event for owners and trainers who will be seeking ballot exempt path for their two-year-olds into the 2026 Group 1 Victoria Derby or the 2026 Group 1 Crown Oaks (2500m).

Also on the card, the Deane Lester Flemington Cup (2800m) – a race 12 years older than the Lexus Melbourne Cup and named in honour of one of racing’s great people who passed away in 2023.
