Final week to secure early bird tickets for 2024 Melbourne Cup Carnival

Adult tickets to the famous four-day carnival start at $48 on VRC Oaks Day and TAB Champions Stakes Day, $65 on Penfolds Victoria Derby Day and $75 for Lexus Melbourne Cup Day. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult are admitted free of charge – a rarity for a major event.

A general admission ticket provides free entry to The Park, home to Fashions on the Field and the Live Stage where some of Australia’s best musical talent will be on show.

Victoria Racing Club (VRC) Chief Executive Officer Steve Rosich said the Melbourne Cup Carnival represented great value for money.

“Cup Week is a staple on the major events calendar and few sporting events around the world can match the glamour and excitement of the four days at Flemington,” Mr Rosich said.

“A day at the Melbourne Cup Carnival offers a full day of activity from world-class racing to fashion, food and live entertainment, and we are pleased to offer a range of experiences at different price points.

“We are mindful of keeping the People’s Cup accessible to all Australians and with twenty-five per cent off the full price of adult general admission tickets, which provides access to areas such as The Park, the front lawn and the Elms. I encourage anyone thinking of attending the Melbourne Cup Carnival this year to make the most of the early bird value.”

The early bird general admission offer ends on July 31 2024, with demand so far strong.

“We see continued interest from people who are looking to experience the iconic event for the first time or continue their much-loved tradition of attending Cup Week,” Mr Rosich said.

“Ticket sales are tracking up on last year with many Lexus Melbourne Cup Day corporate hospitality experiences already sold out.”

Those looking to enhance their experience on a general admission ticket can purchase reserved seats in the Hill Stand and Lawn Stand, or a table in the Mates Rates or Club Lawn spaces on the famous Flemington front lawns.

Corporate hospitality experiences on sale include The Furphy Deck, The Rose Room, The Terrace, Skyline Lounge, Skyline Dining, Lucky’s, Makybe Diva Marquee, Parade Lounge and the new The Favourite.

Private marquees including Hill Stand Suites, Panoramic and The Silks Pavilion are also on sale and perfect for larger group bookings.

VRC Members experiences will go on sale from Monday 19 August.
