The plan is to resume in the Group 1 Black Caviar Lightning (1000m), the race Home Affairs won at his first start after his Coolmore Stud Stakes success, which will be run at Flemington on February 15.
"He's going well, Chris is happy with him and James (McDonald) is happy with him," Coolmore's Tom Magnier said.

Switzerland stretched his record to five wins from seven starts with his Coolmore Stud Stakes win, having also won the Roman Consul Stakes (1200m) and Todman Stakes (1200m) at Group 2 level.
The son of Snitzel and American mare Ms Bad Behaviour will one day occupy a place on the Coolmore roster alongside Home Affairs, who produced the filly out of Sunlight who set a new Magic Millions yearling record when sold for $3.2m on Friday.
It was one of two seven-figure yearlings for the son of I Am Invincible, who was the leading first-season sire by both gross ($17,835,000) and average ($396,333) in Book 1 of the Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
